Liberia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. has begun exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnership between the Cities of Monrovia, Paynesville and other major cities in Liberia, and the City of New York in the United States of America.

The United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) has approved for this year-2019, Five Million United States Dollars (US$5,000,000.00) for the implementation of four projects that will advance reconciliation efforts, and enhance the sustenance of peace in Liberia.

A United States based Health Organization, Operation International in partnership with Marcy Health Services, has expressed interest in conducting a Medical Outreach to Liberia.

Operation International is a Medical Non-Profit organization established in 1996 to offer needed medical aid to children and adults in developing countries. It is made up of Twelve (12) teams that traveled across the world to conduct surgical outreaches.

The United Nations Police (UNPOL) has pledged to continuously support the Government of Liberia; especially the Liberia National Police (LNP) to ensure that it has the capacity to contribute to upholding the rule of law and sustenance of peace in the Country.
