A United States based Health Organization, Operation International in partnership with Marcy Health Services, has expressed interest in conducting a Medical Outreach to Liberia.

Operation International is a Medical Non-Profit organization established in 1996 to offer needed medical aid to children and adults in developing countries. It is made up of Twelve (12) teams that traveled across the world to conduct surgical outreaches.

The United Nations Police (UNPOL) has pledged to continuously support the Government of Liberia; especially the Liberia National Police (LNP) to ensure that it has the capacity to contribute to upholding the rule of law and sustenance of peace in the Country.

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Liberia to the United Nations (UN), His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. has made a passionate plea to the United Nations' Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) to address the remaining needs in the Security Sector Reform (SSR) process in Liberia.

Plans are being finalized in New York to launch at the United Nations Headquarters, the Government of Liberia's flagship development agenda--the Pro-poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD).
