The Permanent Representative of Liberia to the United Nations (UN), His Excellency Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. says the welfare of the military, especially Liberian peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) is a priority for the Permanent Mission of Liberia to the UN.

Liberia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the United Nations His Excellency Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. has urged all UN Member States to collectively do more to make the world a safer place, free of nuclear arsenals and the illegal trade and circulation of small arms and light weapons (SALW).

Liberia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the United Nations has told the UN that Liberia is ready to forge quality regional and international partnerships for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The main session of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) commonly known as the Fourth Committee, got off to a successful start on Thursday, October 4, with the election of  Liberia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the United Nations as chair.
